al fatihah to talented filmmaker and advertisement director Yasmin Ahmad, who passed away at 11.25pm on Saturday. she has passed away from massive bleeding in the brain at the Damansara Specialist Hospital.
i love her films so much from rabun to sepet, mukhsin then gubra... even though most of her movies considered controversial but for me the lesson and the moral value from Yasmin Ahmad stories was the most important thing...She is a director who speaks her mind,her courage and compassion to make films reflects the reality of our community... . I’ve always admire her creative works in the advertising and film industry for making Malaysian into another level of way beyond typical Malaysian standard.
